Operation Fried Rice II

China numba one! And soon shall be as ONE. Our great, flawless leader Xi Jinping has unveiled his Grand design of uniting the people of grand China!!! What was started 100 years ago by the eternal Mao Zedong shall now be finished by the grandchildren of the great revolution! Yes, my comrades, it is to be US who will first set foot on the islands so long rebelling against unification! There is but one obstacle in the way of liberating our brothers across the channel from the shackles of capitalist enslavement. That obstacle is the Penghu archipelago and the surrounding islands. The objective is to capture these just as our main liberation force sails past for mainland Taipei.

Just as our borthers-in-arms from the marines are assaulting the southern part of the archipelago, our air assault platoon shall take control over the island of Sonnai. The island is host to the only major airfield in the archipelago and the archipelago's capital of Grand Mial is also located there.

Sonnai Airport

Our platoon's first objective is to take control over the strategically important Airport. The element of surprise plays to our hand and as such, we're going to land you in the middle of the air strip by helicopter so that the enemy can't set up organised defense. Light air bombardments of suspected enemy positions shall take place roughly 5 minutes before your arrival on target but we do NOT want to damage the runway itself as we will be landing troops and vehicles there later. In case the runway is blocked by any obstacles or wrecks of vehicles, it is going to be your job to clear it!

Air Station Buchan

This is the main garrison of the island's defence force. Located less than a kilometer away from the airfield itself, it poses the largest danger to our assault. As such, our avation will hit this one the hardest. Still, it is very likely that not all equipment and personnel will be destroyed in the initial strikes. so it will be your job to clear it after you're done with the Airport.

Consolidation and expansion

Once these two main objectives are dealt with and the runway is clear, reinforcements as well as infantry mobility vehicles will be flown in (mission change to 2nd part expected). Afterwards, you will be tasked with hunting down elements of the Buchan garrison scattered throughout the jungle. Once you are done with that, you shall move on to 3 points of interest described below.

Search the residence of the island's mayor and try to capture him
Liberate the capital of Grand Mial and suppress any protests
Capture Supply point Bastion and the nearby radio tower so that we can start airing propaganda

More PoI's are possible but at this point, there shouldn't be much time left if any at all...
