Situation report:

After the intervention of the Cadians 836th Regiment Kasrkin detachment with the help of Adeptus Scions, Imperial forces were able to stabilise the situation on E-1354. However, the roots of chaos corruption are dug deep into the mainland of this agri-world and progress remained sluggish.

Displeased with the slow advance, command decided to send in the Krieger 1437th regiment, which is to become the spearhead of the upcoming offensive. But first there are some other problems to deal with before it can be launched.


Objectives:

Defend against the cultist counter attack at the port of Salernum

  • Kriegers have been deployed to Salernum via Valkyries in order to save the remains of a battered Cadian company that's been encircled there for a few days

Find and destroy Cultist mortar positions

  • The mortars have been firing non-stop at the beachhead at Salernum, severely weakening the garrison there. You are hunt these weapons down in the mountains at Devil's Gorge once you've repulsed the enemy attack.

Capture the Blagoy airbase

  • The skies remain contested because we lack any larger airbases to deploy heavier craft. Capturing this base will grant us unmatched air superiority to finally route the chaos forces on this planet.


Assets:

  • A Chimera transport for each squad (can be switched to Taurox)
  • A leman Russ with a battle cannon (can be switched to any other type of Leman Russ, if the crew desires so)
